Meet the Team
Boxxie is female-led and founded. We're a small team with big ideas, and we love what we do.
Aleksa Mara Dalton
Founder, CEOAleksa Mara Dalton is the Founder & CEO of Boxxie, where she combines over a decade of experience in entertainment, events, and brand marketing to create unforgettable physical experiences for some of the world's most recognizable brands. She began her career in entertainment in 2013, working on branded broadcast productions for Disney before becoming an Event Producer at The Projects, where she designed and produced experiences for clients including GQ, Vanity Fair, The Zoe Report, Tiffany & Co., and more.
In 2015, Aleksa founded AMARA Studio, producing global events for brands such as Equinox, Tommy Hilfiger, Glossier, Zola, and others. She later served as Director of Production at Conscious City Guide, where the pandemic challenged her to rethink how people connect. After producing hundreds of virtual events—including celebrity livestreams, Hollywood film premieres, and a live virtual concert with Ariana Grande—she created the concept that would become Boxxie: transforming immersive experiences into thoughtfully curated experiences delivered in a box.
What began as virtual event kits for teams at companies like MasterClass and Instacart quickly evolved into a full-service creative agency specializing in corporate gifting, PR mailers, and branded experiences. During the same time, Aleksa also served as Field Producer for the award-winning documentary Common Ground, winner of the Human/Nature Award at the Tribeca Festival. Today, Aleksa leads Boxxie with a simple philosophy: the best brand experiences are designed from the recipient's perspective. By blending live-event thinking with strategic storytelling, she helps brands create physical moments that people genuinely want to share, keep, and remember.
